Theme Parks

Village Roadshow is Australia's largest theme park operator providing some of the most thrilling entertainment, rides and slides available anywhere in the world.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks (VRTP), a wholly-owned division of Village Roadshow, has its headquarters on the Gold Coast, Australia's holiday playground, where it operates Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet'n'Wild, Paradise Country, Australian Outback Spectacular and Sea World Resort & Water Park, a 402 room hotel adjacent to Sea World. Collectively these Queensland based Village Roadshow Theme Parks enjoy around 5 million guests per annum. In addition, in December 2013 VRL opened Wet'n'Wild Sydney. VRTP also operates and has majority ownership of Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas.

Village Roadshow has a program of development including opportunities in Asia, and China in particular. VRTP is currently working on two projects in China: Wet'n'Wild Haikou, on Hainan Island; and Lionsgate Entertainment World at Novotown on Henqin Island.

Warner Bros. Movie World

Warner Bros. Movie World is Australia's leading entertainment based tourist attraction offering a taste of Hollywood on the Gold Coast and bringing movie magic alive with world class entertainment and appearances by the stars of screen and stage and DC comic heroes.

Located at Oxenford, Warner Bros. Movie World has attracted millions of visitors since it opened in 1991. The theme park, with its extensive range of rides, roller-coasters, parades and attractions, has consolidated its position as a world-wide leader in theme parks and tourism winning numerous state, national and international awards including its membership in the coveted Australian Tourism Hall of Fame. In 2017, the DC Rivals HyperCoaster opened at Warner Bros. Movie World. The biggest individual theme park attraction ever constructed on the Gold Coast, it is the longest, highest and fastest rollercoaster in the Southern Hemisphere and is a 'must experience' for young adults and families alike.

Sea World

Sea World is Australia's premier marine park, covering 25 hectares (55 acres) of land, is located only a few minutes north of Surfers Paradise on Queensland's Gold Coast.

Originally opened in 1971, Sea World is a Gold Coast tourism pioneer, and Australia's first theme park to be inducted into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame in 1992. Visitors to the park have an opportunity to participate in a range of Animal Adventure programs and interact with dolphins, seals and sharks while enjoying behind the scenes tours of Polar Bear Shores and Dolphin Beach.

Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast

Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is located alongside Village Roadshow's Australian Outback Spectacular and Warner Bros. Movie World off the M1 on the Northern Gold Coast.

The water park has been one of the group's most successful theme parks and has won numerous awards including Best Major Attraction in the 2001 Brisbane Tourism Awards and an award for outstanding contribution to tourism over 20 years from Gold Coast Tourism.

Australian Outback Spectacular

Village Roadshow Theme Parks' show extravaganza - Australian Outback Spectacular - opened in April 2006 as a one of a kind experience. The event is a dinner show filled with outback music, drama and action capturing the grandeur of the Australian Outback.

Australian Outback Spectacular, presented by R.M.Williams, is a permanent 1,000 seat attraction located on the Pacific Motorway between Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild, just 20 minutes from the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Paradise Country

Paradise Country offers an authentic Aussie farm experience for people of all ages reflecting the Australian bush culture. Located in the serene peaceful hinterland area behind Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast, Paradise Country is open every day attracting local and overseas visitors. The recent introduction of eco tents has further extended the farm stay experience.

Sea World Resort & Water Park

Sea World Resort & Water Park enjoys the reputation of being Australia's number one theme park holiday destination. Sea World Resort is a 4½ star facility set amongst beautiful tropical gardens and consisting of 402 rooms in 3 different accommodation wings with its own water park.

Sea World Resort & Water Park is also Australia's only theme park resort and conference facility, with the site also including a state-of-the-art Conference Centre capable of accommodating up to 1,000 delegates to complement the Resort.

Village Roadshow Studios

Situated adjacent to the Warner Bros Movie World theme park, Village Roadshow Studios offer world-class film production facilities comprising of nine Sound Stages, three water tanks, ten production offices, editing rooms, wardrobe, makeup, construction, paint and carpentry shops.

All Sound Stages are equipped with current industry standard facilities including air conditioning, extraction fans, steel grids and catwalks. The Stages vary in size with an overall floor area of 15,380.7m2 (156,775.21 sq ft) positioning Village Roadshow Studios as the largest studio lot in the Southern Hemisphere.

Village Roadshow Studios provide a comprehensive support network of experienced film service companies conveniently located on the lot. These companies can provide production services, camera, lighting, rigging, travel/freight, post production facilities, I.T. Support and even Student Training Facilities.

Wet'n'Wild Sydney

Wet'n'Wild Sydney attracts huge crowds every year, with thrill rides, chilled out attractions and kid zones, with many world firsts including the first combination Aqua loop and mat racer, the world's tallest Double SkyCoaster and Australia's largest wave pool.

Located centrally at Prospect in Western Sydney, the water park caters for all ages and utilises some of the latest technology to ensure seamless processes for guests entering the park and connecting with the many facilities available.

Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas

Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas is Nevada's largest water park featuring over 25 innovative slides and attractions catering for both families and thrill seekers. The park is operated and majority owned by VRTP.

Asian Theme Park Interests

The Company has established a Hong Kong office to progress its plans to expand its theme park presence into the Asian market, especially China. VRTP already has two projects underway in China, bringing China's first Wet'n'Wild branded theme park to Haikou, on Hainan Island and Lionsgate Entertainment World, an indoor experience centre, themed around some of Lionsgate's key franchises at Novotown on Henqin Island.
